If your water pressure seems low at your faucets you could have hard water build up on the aerators. Remove the aerator from the faucet carefully and see if it is full of water deposits, if so, rinse them out and reinstall. You should have better flowing water immediately.

Were you "born in a barn" as our parents all used to say? Are your hard earned dollars being spent heating or cooling spaces of your home you don't enter or use? If you cant answer that question then you might want to either do some checking for yourself or have your heating or air conditioning contractor check those spaces out.

Here are a few ideas to save on your summer cooling bills.
Make sure you don?t have lamps or lights at or near your homes thermostat
Use fans to circulate the air in your home (It can make it feel up to 5 degrees cooler)
Change furnace filters regularly and keep them clean for higher efficiency
Keep brush/landscaping and weeds away from the condensing unit (the part of your air conditioner that sits outside)
Cook outside when possible if you like to grill (saves on heating up the house)
Have your air conditioning system serviced each year (keeps it clean, checks for proper operation of all parts BEFORE it breaks when it is 110 outside) also checks for duct leaks (why cool your crawlspace or attic?)
If your AC is really old and worn out replace it with a new energy efficient one.
Insulate your attic if the insulation is lacking

Do you have a furnace in your house? Do you regularly check and change your furnace filters? Even if you have the air conditioning on it is still using the furnace to move the air in your home. If you do not then you are only hurting your wallet and your furnace.
