When is the last time you changed your furnace filter?

     It is very important to stay on top of changing your furnace filters.  It keeps your furnace clean, keeps the dust down in your home reducing alergens and how often you have to clean.  It also helps your furnace and Air conditioner run efficiently.  If that filter is dirty then it will block airflow causing your AC to freeze up due to lack of airflow and during heating season it can cause your furnace to have to work harder to move the same amount of air meaning higher energy bills and can also damage the heat exchanger.  The heat exchanger is designed to operate with airflow from a clean filter.  If it is not getting that airflow then it can over heat and crack causing CO2 to leak into your home which is not a good scenario.  If you have trouble finding filters for your furnace or want to get better ones that can filter out more dirt you can call us anytime and we can get them ordered for you.
