One of the brands that we really like is Bryant.  The Bryant Preferred series carbon Monoxide detector Model: COALM is a great unit.  It is made in the USA, has a 7 year warranty, runs primarily off of 120 volt with battery backup so you don't have to constantly buy batteries or wonder if it is even working.  The Bryant CO2 alarm also uses unmatched sensor technology to detect and record the actual levels of CO in your home that is circulating through your home.  You can monitor the CO level in your home on a large easy to read digital display.  When and if dangerous levels of CO is detected it will ring out with a loud audible alarm to alert you and your family to get out of your house.
