About Drake Mechanical
Drake Mechanical has been family owned and operated for the 
past 30 years. Dick Drake, founder Drake Mechanical with his son Rick, began his plumbing career under the careful tutelage of his father and grandfather while working at his grandfather’s plumbing company, Drake Brothers Plumbing. Both of Dick’s children, Rick Drake and Judy Chivers now run Drake Mechanical and have benefited from their father’s vast knowledge of the plumbing trade. They continue to adhere to the traditional values of honesty and integrity set forth by past generations.
The Drake family has created a loyal customer base with its quality work ethic – the backbone of the business. We currently employ 
certified journeyman and apprentices and hand-select each employee according to their skill level, dependability, professionalism and, most importantly, their integrity.
Generation after generation, The Drake’s have been serving all of the Treasure Valley since 1909. 4th and 5th generations Rick, his sister Judy and Rick’s son Nick are all still hard at work in the family business to ensure that you receive the same personal care and attention that Drake Mechanical has come to be known for.
Meet the Office Team
Rick Drake, CEO
Rick oversees the everyday affairs of the 28 employee operation.
Judy Chivers, Secretary/Treasurer
Judy’s attention to detail assures that the duties in the office will be handled with care from beginning to end.
Eddie Godsey, Service Manager
Eddie started plumbing with his father in 1976. He received his journeyman’s license in 1983 and then two years later started working for Drake Mechanical. In 1997, Eddie took over the service department where today he manages 17 technicians.
Nick Drake, New Commercial Project Manager
Rick’s son Nick has jumped into the family business with both feet. Nick currently runs the new construction side of the business. As project manager and estimator for all phases of new commercial mechanical he is foreman and manager of 8 journeyman plumbers.
